Go-kart proceeds to Wide Horizon Hospice

VEREENIGING. – The 12-hour prokart endurance race at the Bridgestone Adrenaline Raceway will be held on October 23 and 24. It was a great success last year and should prove to be even better this year.

Besides the endurance race for professionals, there will also be a chance for amateurs to try their hand at go-cart racing. They will race before the start of the main race.
The day will also feature a “beerfest” and great entertainment by bands like Errand is Blomme, Scartlet Street, Broken Stream and Spritz Boulevard.
Tickets for the prokart race day are already available at VCR in Vanderbijlpark, the Bridgestone Adrenaline Raceway in Vereeniging and Vivid Moments Photography in Meyerton.
Proceeds of the day will go to the Wide Horizon Hospice, which received a cheque for more than R30├┐00000 from last year’s earnings.
Members of the public and local businesses are encouraged to support this event by buying tickets and coming to enjoy the day.
They can also sponsor teams to take part in non-professional gocart racing, an excellent corporate team-building exercise.
Businesses can also sponsor a section of the track, much like sponsoring a hole at a golf day.
Corners and straights are available to local businesses to sponsor and dress up in their corporate identity.
* Interested sponsors may contact Rob Clark on (011) 421 4573 or Gail Heasley on (016) 428 1410 or visit the prokart website on www.prokart.co.za.
