VAALPARK – Sun├⌐ de Kock and Lee-Ann Bender, students of the Ina Jooste Dance studio in Vaalpark, participated in the South African Championships of Performing Arts 2010 in Rustenburg and both successfully qualified as “Team South Africa” 2010 members.
These two talented young dancers also received the trophy for the Overall Best Duet.
Suné, a pupil at Vaalpark Primary School walked away with three gold medals for Tap Solo, Tap Duet & Musical Character Duet, one bronze for Musical Character Solo and Overall Trophy Group Award.
Lee-Ann Bender received three gold medals for Tap Solo, Tap Duet & Musical Character Duet, a silver for Musical Character Solo and a bronze for Ballet Solo.
