Support the annual soup drive

VANDERBIJLPARK. – It’s winter again and as was the case last year, 90.6 FM wants to bring a bit of warmth to those who so desperately need it.

This year they again want to feed the Vaal by means of a Soup Drive.

- This year we will be handing out soup at these venues:
June 4 – Vereeniging Klipkerk (Monday)
June 12 – Daleside School in Meyerton (Monday)
June 18 – Oospark Primary in Vanderbijlpark (Monday)
June 25 – NG Vanderbijlpark South (Monday)
July 2 – A Church in Sasolburg (Monday)
July 9 – Another church in Vanderbijlpark still to be confirmed (Monday)
July 16 – Miemiefouriehof in Vereeniging (Monday)

* During the abovementioned days in July 90.6FM will be going to the specific venue of that day with its Outside Broadcast Unit, providing music and a fun vibe, and reach out to the less fortunate members of the various communities.

Organising
90.6 FM is responsible for the organising and marketing of this event, arranging for sponsors for the bread and soup ingredients, while the churches will take care of the logistical side of things.
The marketing of this event will entail promos on air, in which the various sponsors will be mentioned, also on 90.6FM’s website.

A huge Thank You will go out on the day of the event and, of course, they will also be mentioned in Ster or Vaalweekblad, the media sponsor for the soup drive.

Donation
90.6FM would like to inquire whether the public would be interested in sponsoring them with soup ingredients or a financial donation.
