Companies, schools, churches, social and sport clubs, families, cancer survivors and individuals are invited to take part in the CANSA Vaal Triangle Relay for Life which will take place on 15-16 February at the North-West University Vaal Campus in Vanderbijlpark. Relay for Life is a joined community event, not only to raise money, but also to celebrate the lives of those who survived cancer and those still fighting it.

It’s also an event to remember those who we have lost due to cancer; and to fight back against this devastating disease. Guest artists like Freddie Nest, Jennifer Jones, Juan Boucher and Chrizaan will be performing on the day. Food stalls for boerewors, donuts, jaffles, curry and rice, and chip ‘n dip will be available. A kiddies corner promises to keep the kids busy for the whole day.

Other attractions like raffles, paintball, boersport and the “Human health board game” will be form part of the entertainment for the day. This is an opportunity to take hands with the Cancer Association of South Africa and be part of this unique community event to spread the message of hope – hope that one day a cure will be found for cancer.
